Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been awarded the All-NBA First Team for the 2022-23 season.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named to the 2022-23 All-NBA First Team, it was announced today by the NBA.
Gilgeous-Alexander appeared in 68 games (all starts) during the 2022-23 season and led the Thunder with 31.4 points, 5.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.65 steals in 35.5 minutes per game, while shooting 51.0% from the field. His scoring and steals each ranked fourth in the NBA.
He is the youngest guard ever to average at least 30 points on 50% shooting for a season. He tallied a league-leading 45 games scoring 30-plus points and led the league in third-quarter scoring, averaging 10.2 points in the frame.
Gilgeous-Alexander set career-high averages in points, steals, blocks, field goal percentage and free throw percentage. He made a league-leading 669 free throws and shot 90.5% from the free throw line, which ranked fifth overall.
This season, he was named an All-Star for the first time in his career and earned Western Conference Player of the Week honors twice.
Gilgeous-Alexander is the fourth Thunder player to earn First Team All-NBA honors and the fifth Thunder player to be named to an All-NBA team overall. With his selection, Oklahoma City now has a total of 18 All-NBA selections and nine First Team All-NBA selections, both of which lead the NBA since 2008-09.
