41-Year-Old Dead After Being Hit By Semi In SW Oklahoma City

A 41-year-old man is dead after they were hit by a vehicle Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes of Interstate 44 near Southwest 59th Street.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Jermaine Jenkins, 41, was trying to cross the highway when they were hit by a semi.

The victim died while being transported to the hospital, troopers said.
