Inmate Dies At Oklahoma County Detention Center, Authorities Investigating

An inmate died Saturday night at the Oklahoma County Detention Center, jail officials said.

The inmate has been identified as Frank Ramirez.

Officials said Ramirez was found distressed in his cell when medical staff began life-saving measures before taking him to the hospital.

Ramirez was pronounced dead an hour later.

It is unclear what the cause of death is.
