A warm and windy day on Wednesday with severe storm chances in the afternoon.
Ahead of the dryline we will be very unstable today. If a storm or two can form today, it will have the chance to really ramp up.
Hail up to baseball size will be possible due to the rich Gulf air and strong updrafts, winds to 70 or 80 mph possible, and there will be a low tornado threat as well.
West of the dryline the fire threat is extreme Wednesday.
Most data suggests we are dry today, so may not see a storm one. However, there are signs that the cap does in fact bust, and a few storms fire.
Our team of trackers will be out today, and we will bring you updates as the day progresses.
The cold front moves in tonight, and it will bring a rain opportunity too.
