When we say “unsettled pattern," the next nine days is exactly what what we mean! We have almost daily rain and storm chances in weak northwest flow.
Every day the timing and location is different. For the next several days, the best chances will be west of I-35 right where the rain is most needed. Some flooding is possible at times.
The upper-level flow is too weak for any major severe weather, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get a pulse severe storm here and there.
Wednesday, some morning showers and then very isolated storm chances this afternoon. Highest chances will be late Wednesday evening in the west.
Thursday and Friday, rain and storm chances continue off and on mainly in the west.
Memorial Day weekend, the same pattern continues. Very slight chance of rain in Oklahoma City. Storm chances go up on Memorial Day.
