Man Injured In Shooting At Tulsa Apartment Complex, Suspect On The Run

A 36-year-old man is in the hospital and police are searching for a suspect after a shooting Sunday afternoon at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Tulsa Police said officers responded to calls of a shooting at the Garden Courtyard apartments at 12:39 p.m.

Sgt. Chonosh with TPD said at the scene near 43rd and Garnett that the victim was shot multiple times in and around his vehicle by a black man with a red mask.

The victim, who Sgt. Chonosh said was speaking with police at the scene, was taken to a hospital for surgery and is expected to survive.

TPD says the suspect ran northwest into the complex and officers pursued with K9, but he got away.

Detectives are investigating the shooting.
