Metro Technology's Springlake Campus and several community agencies are conducting active shooter scenarios at the center near Northeast 36th and MLK.

53 volunteers signed up to help give police the most realistic practice possible by playing both the role of shooters and victims.

Students also shadowed responders to grow their active shooter response knowledge.
