At Least 12 Injuries Reported In Norman After Sunday Night Storms

Norman city officials gathered Monday morning to provide an update after a line of storms damaged homes and businesses Sunday night in Norman.

Twelve injuries were reported, but none were life threatening, according to Norman Police Chief Kevin Foster.

There’s a resource center located near 12th Avenue Northeast and East Rock Creek Road, Foster said.

Foster said several roads still remain closed Monday morning.

Reagan Elementary and Washington Elementary Schools are closed Monday because of power outages.

Foster said to avoid damaged areas, and the Public Works Department is doing a debris survey later Monday.
