On Monday, state leaders launched a new advertising campaign to increase tourism. It showcased spots across the Sooner State and it featured Oklahoman musicians.

The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department announced the "Imagine That" campaign during a news conference Monday morning. The campaign involved the release of six commercials, each one showing families visiting various destinations across the state, such as parks, museums, restaurants and more. The videos are slated to air on social media, streaming platforms, and certain cable markets, according to a news release.

"When you travel Oklahoma, you strengthen Oklahoma," said Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell. "This campaign showcases the best of Oklahoma and demonstrates the state's potential to a global audience. We are not just competing with 49 other states."

Each commercial also featured an Oklahoma-based artist performing the Irving Berlin song, "Blue Skies." One of the musicians selected was Oklahoma City-based violinist and vocalist Kyle Dillingham.

"It's been a dream for me for my music to be used and for my talent to be used to serve the benefit of the state of Oklahoma," said Dillingham.

Dillingham, who has performed in more than 40 countries and counting, said each performance was his way of representing Oklahoma.

"It's been my life's calling and mission," said Dillingham.

With the "Imagine That" campaign featuring his music, Dillingham was glad to represent the state in a new way.

"It was just a magical feeling," Dillingham said about being included in the campaign. "The surprise that even I have each time I go somewhere new in the state of Oklahoma and discover the beauty of this place, I think, really flowed through the instruments and through the vocals."

The Tourism and Recreation Department said this was the first television campaign using the new state branding. Click here to watch all the videos online.
