Water Main Repaired In SW OKC

UPDATE 3:17 P.M.: The water main break was not as significant as originally believed, all services should be fully restored by now.

Crews are working to repair a water main break in southwest Oklahoma City, according to the City of OKC.

The city said contractors hit a 16-inch water main near Southwest 44th Street and South Sara Road.

It is unknown how many customers are affected.

The city said it estimates it will take approximately six to eight hours for the repair.
