Pandas Given Farewell Ceremony Before Leaving For Qatar

A group of giant pandas had a farewell ceremony as they leave China and head for Qatar, marking the first time Giant Pandas will be sent to the Middle East.

Sihai and Jingjing got their send off on Tuesday, although Chinese teams from the Giant Panda Conservation Center went with them to make sure the trip goes smoothly, and to give on-site guidance.

The crew in Qatar has set up a breeding base and a professional team to greet the new residents.
