Annual 'Native Languages Summit' To take Place In Oklahoma City

The Department of the Interior along with several other departments will be holding the annual 'Native Languages Summit' in Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

'The Speaking Sovereignty Summit' is being hosted by the Bureau of Indian Education.

The summit is meant to support Indigenous communities in an effort to protect and revitalize native languages.

The summit is free to the public and can be attended in person or virtually.
