Oklahoma Pardon And Parole Board Recommends Clemency For James Coddington

The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board has announced that they will be rescheduling the clemency hearing for James Coddington that was planned for Tuesday.

In a 3-2 vote, the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board recommended clemency for inmate James Coddington, who had been scheduled for execution on Aug, 25.

Coddington was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to death after the 1997 killing of 73-year-old Albert Hale.
