Cooking host Sassy Mama shows us to make nutty buddy ice cream bars.
1 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
Hot fudge sauce, warmed
3 ounce plastic cups
Add spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream until the cup is 1/3 full.
Press into the cup and smooth the top.
Add a teaspoon of hot fudge and sprinkle with a few peanuts.
Place on a cookie sheet and freeze for four hours.
Remove from the freezer and fill with softened ice cream to the top of the cup. Press down so there are no air pockets and smooth the top.
Press popsicle sticks into the center of each cup and freeze for another four hours before dipping in the chocolate dip.
To Add Chocolate Shell
Simply remove the ice cream bars from the plastic cup molds.
Line a cold baking sheet with parchment paper.
Working fast, dip the ice cream bars in the chocolate shell and sit on the pre-chilled baking sheet.
Once all the bars are dipped, return to the freezer to freeze for an additional three hours.
