UPDATE 11:56 PM: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Alfalfa, Major and Woods counties until 12:45 a.m.
The National Weather Service says this storm can produce 60 MPH winds and half dollar sized hail. Expect hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to houses and trees.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Alfalfa, Garfield, Kay, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, Major, Noble, Payne and Woods counties until 3 a.m.
News 9 Meteorologist David Payne said storms are developing across Kansas, gaining strength and moving SE overnight. He said the primary risks of this storm are 70 MPH wind and golf ball sized hail with heavy rain and lightning. There is also a low risk of brief tornadoes.
News 9 has storm trackers keeping an eye on the storm in case it becomes severe.
