Autopsy Results Reveal New Information In Execution Of Gilbert Postelle

There is new information about Oklahoma death row inmate Gilbert Postelle's execution.

Autopsy results show he had an excessive amount of fluid in his lungs when he died.

The department of corrections executed Postelle in February.

Officials say the execution went off without complications.

The medical examiner's report says the 35-year-old "had congested lungs" and a condition making breathing extremely difficult.

The findings were also reported in the autopsy of death row inmate John Grant.

Witnesses say Grant convulsed and vomited during his 2021 execution.
