TULSA, Oklahoma -

The 2022 PGA Championship started Thursday morning with big names in Tulsa ready to compete for the Wanamaker trophy.

John Daly was the first to tee off this morning, right at 7 a.m.

He was followed by OSU alum Victor Hovland.

At 8:11, Tiger woods teed off on the 10th hole with an outstanding threesome group.

He’ll be playing alongside Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth.

But let’s talk about what you need to know if you are heading to Tulsa Thursday to catch these guys at the end of their round or even later this week.

You are allowed to bring in sunscreen and one water, along with a small bag.

Once you enter, you will receive a wristband, which will allow you go get unlimited food and non-alcoholic drinks all day long.

The PGA does have an app you can download, so you can figure out your way around the course.

There will be several stands where you can come and take a seat at certain holes, but expect to be walking and standing most of the day.

So, the message if you are heading up Friday is to plan extra time, especially with the crowds already seen.
