Tulsa Liquor Store Employee Opens Fire On Suspect During Robbery Attempt

Officers are setting up a perimeter around a liquor store after an attempted robbery ended with shots being fired, says Tulsa Police.

According to TPD, a person stopped his car and ran inside the liquor store near Pine and Peoria. Police say the suspect tried to rob the store but the employee fired shots at them. TPD officers are now searching for the robbery suspect and say K9 units have been brought in to help.

Police say it is not clear if the suspect was hit but they say he is not considered armed or dangerous.
