A man has been arrested in connection to the death of a missing Kay County man, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

Investigators say it began after 40-year-old Charles Star Warrior was found missing from his home on Tosque Drive in Tonkawa on Saturday.

According to the OSBI, a day later, on January 30, a body was discovered in the Chikaskia River, east of Tonkawa. Investigators later identified the victim as Warrior.

OSBI officials say that based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for 42-year-old Dustin Lee Begshisown.

Officials say Begshisown was later arrested by the Wichita, Kansas Police Department at 4:45 a.m. on Monday.
