The world's leading producer of bamboo now has the world's largest bamboo building.

Thailand is now home to an international school that was built entirely from bamboo.

The architect behind the building was impressed with its ecological benefits.

Bamboo is as strong as wood and can grow as much as one meter in 24 hours.

It's also resistant to insects and fires.

And while it won't last forever, the lifespan for bamboo buildings is at least 50 years.

A resistant, insulating, and highly decorative material, it is increasingly being used by the Thai generation for greener building projects. The life span of bamboo buildings is at least 50 to 60 years.

The material is insect-resistant and is also fire-resistant. A very popular material in real estate.
