We conclude our Holiday Adventures week with a decades long tradition here in the city: holiday sledding at Bricktown Ballpark. Karl Torp and his family went to check it out.
No matter the weather this December, it's always snowing in the upper deck of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
“We have anywhere between two to three inches,” said OKC Dodgers Director of Communications Alex Freedman.
It's been two years since we've seen Lifeshare Winterfest snow tubing.
Which as we learned wasn't a long enough hiatus for Wes, Karl's 3-year-old. He was just a bit too short for the big slide.
His other son, Kellen, was going for a speed record down the 145-foot chute on the big slide.
The extra push off the blocks really does get you going, as Karl found out.
You can snow tube on the weekends and everyday starting December 18 until January.
Mascots Brix and Brooklyn really make it a blast for the little ones, and the tubing gives you just the right amount of family competition.
