The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said four people are hospitalized after a wrong way driver caused a multi-vehicle collision.

The collision happened just after 3 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 35 near Southeast 29th Street.

Troopers said the wrong way driver was traveling southbound on the northbound side of I-35 when it struck a second vehicle in the side, ricocheted and then struck a third vehicle.

The wrong way driver also hit a fourth vehicle head-on.

A passenger in the fourth vehicle was admitted in critical condition.

Traffic is now back to normal and all lanes are open.
