Minco Public Schools Cancels School For Rest Of Week Due To Uptick In COVID Cases

MINCO, Oklahoma -

Minco Public Schools is canceling school for the rest of the week due to an uptick in COVID-19 cases.

Last week, two COVID cases were reported. Then, 24 faculty and students have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last few days, Superintendent Kevin Sims said in a Facebook Live video.

The district will return to school on Nov. 29. Thursday and Friday will be out-days and not online instruction days, Sims said.

The junior high basketball game against Alex will be postponed.
