Tulsa Transit Seeking Community Input On New Bus Route

Tulsa Transit will start a new express bus service on 11th Street, cutting in half the wait times for buses, and improving stations along the way.

The new service will replicate a route that runs on Peoria, and form a second “spine” for the system, according to Chase Phillips, with Tulsa Transit. He said the route will run from downtown to 11th and Garnett, then continue on 21st Street to Eastgate Metroplex, which is a major employment destination.

The Transit service will have public meetings this week to help set stop locations, while the route itself has already been determined.
