Suspect Who Was Shot & Killed After Holding Man Hostage Identified

The Medical Examiners Officer said Derek Collins is the suspect who died after holding a bike rider hostage outside a convenience store in Tulsa.

TULSA, Oklahoma -

The Medical Examiners Officer said Derek Collins is the suspect who died after holding a bike rider hostage outside a convenience store in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say Collins had a knife and confronted a QuikTrip manager, then took a nearby bike rider hostage on November 4th.

The hostage wasn't hurt and Collins died from his injuries after an officer shot him.
