1 Woman Injured During Apartment Fire In NW OKC

Fire crews battled heavy flames at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment Sunday morning.

It happened at a complex around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 63rd Street and Rockwell Avenue.

Officials said one woman was injured after she jumped from the second story of the building to avoid the fire.

The woman was transported to a metro hospital and is expected to be OK.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
