OSBI Investigating After Home Invasion Leads To Death Of An Intruder

OSBI is investigating after a home invasion led to the death of one intruder.

At 2:30 a.m. Friday, Logan County dispatch received a 911 call from a homeowner who said he had shot an intruder at his home on Backhaus Road near Guthrie.

The homeowner said he heard multiple people breaking into his home, he grabbed his gun and fired at the intruders.

Deputies found a female with gunshot wounds. She died at the scene.

The other individuals left the home after hearing the gunshots.

No one is in custody and the homeowner is cooperating with investigators.

Officials have not identified the person killed.
