3 People Hospitalized After Shooting In NW OKC, Police Say

Three people are in the hospital on Monday morning after police say an overnight domestic situation turned into a shooting.

According to Oklahoma City Police, the shooting took place near Northwest Expressway and Council and involved two men and one woman.

Police say one of the men involved started to confront the other man and woman outside of an apartment complex around 1 a.m. Monday.

Police say the first man eventually started to shoot, prompting the other man to return fire, all three people were hit by gunfire.

The first man drove himself to the hospital while the other two were taken by EMSA, according to officers.

Currently, police say one of the men and the woman are not cooperating with the investigation.

Investigators say all three have non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.
