Mustang Public Schools announced it transitioned one of its fourth grade classes to distance learning because of a COVID-19 outbreak at Trails Elementary School.

Mustang Public Schools announced it transitioned one of its fourth grade classes to distance learning because of a COVID-19 outbreak at Trails Elementary School.

School officials said it reached the decision after consulting with local and state health officials.

The remote instruction, which began Thursday, will last 10 days.

The district plans to return the fourth grade class to in-person learning on Sept. 7.
