The Oklahoma City Police Department released a sketch Tuesday of a man accused of abducting and sexually assaulting two teenage girls last week in the metro.
The assaults allegedly occurred on the same day at two separate locations, police said. Both girls called 911 to report the crimes shortly after the incidents took place.
Police said the suspect is a white man with a tan, in his late 50s or early 60s.
According to a police report, one victim told police she was walking on NW 10th St. when the suspect reportedly pulled up and asked her if she wanted a ride. The victim said yes.
At some point the suspect told the victim he needed to smoke a cigarette and pulled onto a gravel road. According to authorities, the victim said the suspect tried to grab her breast and made lewd sexual comments and propositions. The victim said she told the man not to touch her and said she wanted to be taken to a local church. The suspect dropped the teen off and told her he would be back, the police report said.
The second incident with the second victim was reported nearly 15 minutes later. An officer responded at about 12:30 p.m. to a bus terminal located in the 400 block of NW 5th St. The teen told police she was walking from school to the terminal when a white truck pulled up. The driver reportedly started talking to her. She said during the exchange the driver grabbed her by her backpack handle and pulled her inside of the truck.
According to the report, the second teen told investigators the suspect grabbed her breast and made lewd comments. She reported being in the vehicle for approximately five minutes. She told police she jumped out of the moving truck as it slowed down.
The teen said she ran in the opposite direction of the truck and told police the driver quickly took off in the other direction. The arriving officer located two cigarette butts in the area believed to belong to both the teen and the suspect. They were recovered and submitted for evidence, the police report said.
Photos of the alleged suspect’s vehicle have been released. The truck is described to be a Ford F-150 FX4 Oklahoma edition, 2016 or newer, according to authorities.
Police said the truck has a distinctive double panel moon roof, a black grill with after-market brush guard and wheels.
Anyone who can identify the man, or who may have information, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. An anonymous tip can also be made at www.okccrimetips.com.
