A Humid Day With Storms Possible In The Far East And Far West Of The State

Tracking showers and a few storms this morning. Highest opportunity for rain through noon will be to south and east.

Look for a hot and very muggy day. All the recent rain in parts of Oklahoma is adding to the low level humidity.

Those of us who see sunshine will have heat index values in the upper 90s to near 100. We will have a chance for t-storms east of I-35 this afternoon and will watch storms in the Texas panhandle as well.

A dryline will setup in the Texas panhandle and this could be the focal point for severe storms.

These storms will make a run at our western counties this evening, but should weaken as they move in. Our trackers will be out today and we will bring you updates.
