Person Dies After Being Struck By Car In Midwest City

Police said a person has died after being hit by a car Wednesday in Midwest City.

The crash happened at Northeast 10th Street and Sooner Road.

Authorities said the victim walked out into the street into oncoming traffic and was hit.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene, and is cooperating with authorities.

No citation is expected for the driver, authorities said.

The victim has not yet been identified.
