1 Person Hit By Car, 1 Shot At OKC Club; Investigation Underway

An investigation is underway after two people were injured on Northeast 23rd Street.

Oklahoma City police said they were first called to a club near 23rd and Palomino Dr. around 3:45 a.m. where they found a woman who had been hit by a car. As that victim was being taken to the hospital, police said a call came in from another woman who said they had been shot in the leg at the same club.

Officers said the two women were arguing while one of them was in a truck. At some point, someone shot at the woman in the truck causing her to speed off, hitting the other woman, and slamming into a building.

Both victims are expected to recover.

Authorities said they are still working to piece together the series of events.
