Veteran Salute: O.D. Wingard

We are honoring the men and women who served our country.

On June 25, we want to salute Coast Guard veteran O.D. Wingard.

He served from 1941 to 1946 as a radio operator during World War II.

Since the war, he traded a life on the sea for something a little calmer.

Now, he spends his time bowling and working in the garden.
