1 Hospitalized After Shooting, Vehicle Crashes Into NW OKC Apartment

A person was hospitalized after being shot and crashing a vehicle into an apartment complex Monday night.

The incident happened at an apartment complex near the intersection of North Pennsylvania Avenue and Highland Park Drive.

A vehicle rammed into a building at the complex. The victim was found inside the vehicle.

Crews were able to get the victim out of the vehicle, render aid and rush the person to a hospital.

The victim’s condition is not known at this time.

Two children were inside the apartment at the time of the crash but they were not injured, police said.

Police said the driver was shot in his car and sped across the parking lot into the apartment.

No arrests have been made at this time.
