The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tracked down a man troopers were engaged in a pursuit with Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities began the pursuit near Southwest 51st Street and South Independence Avenue.
Speeds in the chase reached more than 60 mph, troopers said.
Bob Mills SkyNews 9 followed the pursuit as the man drove northbound on Portland Avenue before ending in a residential neighborhood in northwest Oklahoma City.
The man got out of the vehicle, which had two flat tires, as it was moving and tried to hide in a homeowner's backyard before surrendering to authorities.
Troopers were assisting the DEA with an investigation when the chase suspect sped off, troopers said.
