Lots of people are enjoying the first day of Mayfest in Tulsa's downtown.
More than 100 artists are set up all over the Greenwood and Arts districts.
About 40 local artist and 80 artists from across the region are in Tulsa, and organizers said they are excited to have the event this year since it was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tanner Kerly is a local Tulsa artist and said he's spent the past year focusing on Mayfest.
“My favorite piece, right now, is probably this one here and this one I was really excited to set this one up. I’ve got a digital piece of it, too. So that’s probably one of my best ones that I’m really digging right now," said Kerly.
Organizers said this year people attending have a chance to make their own artwork at The Studio near Cameron Street and MLK Blvd.
