Officers Have Suspects In Custody Following NW OKC Shooting

Oklahoma City police is investigating a shooting on the northwest side of the city. 

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Saturday in a residential neighborhood near the intersection of West Hefner Road and North Rockwell Avenue.

Police said the victim and three male suspects exchanged gunfire from the victim's home. Only the victim was injured in the exchange.

Authorities learned from witnesses nearby that the suspects fled the scene in a dark SUV. Police has since located the vehicle and believes it has every suspect involved in custody.

The victim of the shooting was in a private vehicle when authorities located the victim near Northwest 122nd Street and North MacArthur Avenue.

The victim has been taken to OU Medical Center. The person’s condition is not yet known at this time.
