MUSKOGEE, Okla. -

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health is hosting a community vaccination event for anyone 18 and older on Friday. The clinic is open to anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Moderna vaccine will be administered. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Creek Nation Casino in Muskogee.

All you have to do is stay in your car and have an ID ready to go. You will also need proof of health insurance.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health will be using one of their new mobile labs, which they say helps them get vaccinations to rural and underserved areas.

The health department plans on doing through different cities, including Muskogee, Holdenville, Coweta and Bristow. After Friday, the next mobile clinic is scheduled for Monday at the Duck Creek Casino.
