Firefighters Investigate Suspicious Fire At NW OKC Daycare

Firefighters are calling an overnight fire at a northwest Oklahoma City daycare facility suspicious.

According to authorities, someone driving by the Twinkle Tots Daycare near Northwest 39th Street and Interstate 44 called 911 when they saw smoke coming from the building around 11 p.m. Thursday.

Firefighters said the fire caused about $120,000 worth of damage and the daycare will need a new roof.

Fire crews said the fire was ignited in several spots.

The investigation is ongoing.
