One thing is certain at Valkyrie Paranormal. They ain’t afraid of no ghost.

“I’m not scared at all. I just want to communicate. I just want to talk," said Andrea Brightbill, Valkyrie case manager.

Andrea and Valkyrie Paranormal founder Jeri Beavers let News 9’s Brian Mueller tag along, "trepidatiously," as they investigated for paranormal activity in one of their go-to ghost spots in Kingfisher.

“This was formally a hospital, mostly for a maternity ward. And other minor things," said Beavers.

Beavers said the spirit of a 7–9-year-old girl named Victoria is in the hospital, along with a few other spirits, who they communicate with using ghost-tracking gadgets.

You might be watching this with some skepticism, but the Valkyrie team said they question everything as well.

Sometimes what seems paranormal, is just normal.

“We are skeptical as well. If you hear rattling, the wind’s blowing, that’s going to be wind, that’s not going to be paranormal," Beavers said. "We can’t prove to you it’s paranormal, we can just share our experiences with you. With equipment, maybe we can corroborate that a little bit.”

Valkyrie wants to share those experiences for a good cause.

They’re hosting a paranormal investigation night this Saturday at the Chisolm Trail Museum in Kingfisher, with proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.

It’s a cause close to Andrea’s heart, herself an Air Force vet.

“We say as Valkyrie, we serve both the living and the not. If we can give something back to those who gave so much, it’s an honor," said Brightbill.

Tickets for the event are $40 per person. You can purchase them by clicking here.
