It’s the end of an era for a Tulsa restaurant that’s been on Brookside for more than 20 years. Crews tore down Crow Creek Tavern Friday morning.

The restaurant was bought by the owners of Mondo’s Italian restaurant. They plan to build a new location at the spot where Crow Creek Tavern once stood.

“Yeah, it’s bittersweet,” Mondo’s Italian restaurant owner Rob Aloisio said. “I used to go there, and my friend owned the place, so you know, it’s strange how things change.”

Mondo’s released a rendering of what they expect the new building to look like. It’s supposed to open at some point this fall.
