NW OKC Home Destroyed In Early Morning House Fire

Firefighters said a vacant northwest Oklahoma City home was destroyed in a fire early Monday morning.

According to authorities, the fire was near Northwest 9th Street and North Douglas Avenue.

Firefighters said no one was located inside the home during the time of the fire, however, the building has a history with homeless people.

The Battalion Chief said there was a fire in the backyard of this home in February.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
