Drone Captures WWII Bomb Detonation In England

Drone footage captured the controlled explosion of a World War II Bomb Saturday.

The area in Southwestern England was evacuated before the bomb was detonated.

The device, believed to be a 1,000 kilogram "Hermann" bomb, was found near the University of Exeter campus last Friday.

Crews worked to clear the area before it was detonated Saturday night.

The large cloud of smoke and debris could be seen for miles.

Neighbors also reportedly heard it 10 kilometers away.
