In an attempt to conserve power, Hennessey Public Schools is allowing teachers to change their lesson plans for Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to a letter to students and parents, the district said teachers will keep students' online lessons to a minimum to assist with online usage.
The district asks students and parents to check Google Classroom to find assignments that require paper and pencil to complete.
Students will be asked to turn in when the assignments when they are able to return to school.
This is an attempt to stay away from requiring students to use their devices for long periods of time.
