OCPD: Shooting Victim Found At NB Broadway Extension Off-Ramp

Oklahoma City police are investigating a shooting Friday in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Broadway Extension Service Road.

According to police, one victim was shot in the stomach. His vehicle was located on the Broadway Extension off-ramp. The victim was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

"One black male subject had been shot. He was inside the car, that's behind us here. We've got evidence with shell casings on the street leading us to believe that it happened just on the off-ramp," said OKCPD Capt. Rod Strecker.

Police said they do not have any suspect information at this time.

Authorities are asking people to avoid the area.
