1 Taken To Hospital After Shooting In NW OKC Parking Lot

Police said one person was shot Thursday morning in the parking lot of a Family Dollar near Northwest 39th Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue.

According to authorities, a store employee was sitting in their vehicle when a man started throwing rocks at it. Police said the employee shot the rock-thrower in the chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital but is stable.

Police said the shooter is being questioned and is cooperating with officers.
