Even after Joe Biden was sworn in Wednesday as the 46th President of the United States, and security remains in place, the security that allowed everything to go off without a hitch.

President Biden took the oath just before noon Wednesday and wasted no time in beginning his mission to unify the nation.

“This is our historic moment of crisis and challenge, and unity is the path forward. We must meet this moment as the United States of America,” Biden said in his address to the nation.

In a unique inauguration, due to both the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent assault on the U.S. Capitol, heightened security even pulled some Oklahomans to stand guard.
