Fort Still Army Base To Conduct 152 Acre Burn

Fort Sill Army Base will be conducting a 152 acre burn Tuesday to prevent future wildfires on base.

The burn will starting at 9 a.m.

Officials said these fires will be controlled and residents can expect large amounts of smoke in the area.

Fort Sill fire and Emergency Service analyzed the weather pattern and determined that Tuesday would be the best window of opportunity to conduct the burn.

Fort Sill will provide further information if it is necessary.
