Oklahoma City police said a man was struck by a car on Saturday night.
The collision happened near South Western Avenue and Southwest Grand Boulevard.
“The caller said that the car had hit a male walking across the street,” Oklahoma City Police Department Capt. Arthur Gregory said.
Police responded to the call just after 6 p.m. Saturday. When authorities arrived on scene, they said someone passing by had stopped and was performing CPR on the victim in the street.
“Medics arrived, took over the CPR and transported the victim to OU Med in Critical condition,” Gregory said.
Gregory said the victim appears to be in his 60’s. The driver who hit him remained on scene as investigators are now working to determine how the collision occurred.
Officials said the driver appears to be OK. There were no other reported injuries.
